Barre Body Fit


   

 

BARRE BODY FIT

The original classic one hour workout to tone and challenge all fitness levels. Target every area of your body through a series of strategic exercises focussing on strength and flexibility incorporating the ballet barre. Starting with a warm-up, followed by an arm series, exercises at the barre, a floor segment of mat exercises and cardio bursts incorporated throughout. Cool down at the end of each class and celebrate a solid hour of tough love.

BARRE + CORE + STRETCH

Skip the cardio and spend equal parts at the barre warming up and working on arms, time on the floor targeting all areas of the body with an emphasis on the core, and finishing the trifecta with 20 minutes to stretch out those hard working muscles.

Our signature Barre Body Fit class turned up! Step up to this advanced class designed to challenge with added cardio and strength training options. We encourage you try a couple Barre Body Fit classes before raising the barre and jumping into a BTS class.

BBS BANGIN’ BACKSIDE

Come to this class for a higher, tighter, rounder tush. We’ll run you through the regular Barre Body Fit class format you know and love with an extra emphasis on sculpting your seat, toning your hamstrings and strengthening your back. All fitness levels welcome.

CORE + TONE

Focusing on your core, strength and toning, this class is designed to target all areas of the body with an emphasis on the core work and centre-led movement. Skip the barre in this class and get ready to spend more time working in the middle of the room and on the floor with cardio bursts to keep your heart rate elevated.

RISE UP

RISE UP is our newest mat-based class designed to elevate your heart rate, lift your spirit and cleanse your soul. Throughout the class, instructors bring you back to the present moment, diving deep into a full body workout guaranteed to leave you energized. This is THE class we’ve been developing all year. It’s time to RISE UP.

Local Charity Class

THE PAY IT FORWARD CLASS

Invest in yourself and those in need. Our Pay it Forward class follows the traditional Barre Body Fit format tailored to all fitness levels. Focusing on small isometric movements to rev up your heart-rate, blast fat, and build muscle. Mixed with short cardio intervals and lots of stretching.


This class is free to sign-up but a $10 charity donation is requested in-studio. All 2018 proceeds benefit The Ronald McDonald House of Southern/Central Alberta.


Every Wednesday @ 7pm at BBS RAMSAY – $10 charity drop-in, register 12 hours in advance via the BBS App.


 

Mommy and Me

MOMMY AND ME

Mothers are strong, brilliant and inspiring. Our postnatal barre class is designed to foster that strength and give new moms a dynamic barre workout with babies safely nestled in their carriers.

All little ones are welcome. While the program is designed for new Mom’s, your toddlers may enjoy some light participation and social engagement. We offer an environment where you can bring your baby as well as your toddler to class. 

Find us at Bow Trail on Monday and Wednesday and at our Ramsay location Tuesday and Thursday - sign up on the regular schedule one week in advance to secure a drop-in spot.
