The Key to Anti-Aging

It has been estimated that by 2015, the anti-aging market will have reached $291.9 Billion. We have become a society of lotions, potions and bandaids. Here is the thing...one of the best, most inexpensive and effective ways to slow not only the SIGNS of aging but the RATE altogether, is to maintain a healthy lifestyle. That’s it. The trick is, we as individuals must participate, make the choices and DO something about it while we are young.

Aging is accelerated by anything that damages cells and increases their turnover rate. Smoking, excessive sun exposure, inactivity....the list goes on. Our cells that make up everything from our skin to our organs are designed to turnover so that new cells can take their place. Each successive cell is a virtual photocopy of the one preceding it. The more damage a cell endures, the faster it must turnover and the more “photo copies” are made. Imagine taking a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a family picture; each one has less integrity. The key to anti-aging is to slow down the turnover rate by reducing or eliminating extra damage to cells, and by ensuring that the new cells are of the highest quality possible. Remaining active keeps cells oxygenated and allows toxins to be pumped out efficiently; feeding the body with nutritious, quality foods and reducing unnecessary stressors are all it takes to maintain that youthful glow!

The biggest gains will truly be seen when you make health a priority DAILY by adopting a sustainable, healthy lifestyle. Add years to your life and life to your years!
